Enriching Keta’s youth through a community school – Xetoto Robotics, Arts and Craft Institute.

In Keta — a community rich with talent but limited in resources — creative and technical education remains scarce.
The Xetoto Arts Foundation is building a practical path for youth to learn arts, STEAM skills and entrepreneurship,
so they can turn creativity into opportunity.

Executive summary

Xetoto provides a community-focused school that blends visual and performing arts with technology, mentorship,
and a marketplace for young creators. The program aims to unlock talent, build employable skills, and enable
financial independence for underprivileged youth in Keta.

Problem

Youth in Keta lack access to quality creative and technological education, which limits career options and
economic mobility.

Solution

A combined school, gallery and event programme that teaches arts + technology, pairs students with mentors,
and connects creative work to income-generating opportunities.

What students gain

  • Real-world experience through exhibitions & live events
  • Entrepreneurship support so students can sell work or services
  • Mentorship and community networks

Three-year goals

  1. Become the leading youth empowerment program in Keta for arts & tech.
  2. Expand training and reach more students in creative and technical fields.
  3. Open a gallery & event space for exhibitions and performances.
  4. Create a sustainable marketplace for student work.
  5. Run mentorships and career readiness programs.

Keys to success

High-quality training, equitable access, community partnerships, real showcasing opportunities, and strong mentorship.
