The Keta Municipal Assembly has collaborated with two young and talented event groups namely; Xetoto arts foundation and Collinwud, to create events that will boost arts, tourism and trade in the municipality. These events are put under an umbrella created by the municipal assembly named Defia trade, arts and cultural festival.
Defia in ewe means, to showcase or to exhibit; Defia trade fair has been in existence for some years now and the previous one was held on November 9 to 15, 2020. The aim is to project the best the municipality has to offer in the areas of trade, investment and tourism as well as offer SME's the opportunity to introduce their brands and products to potential clients and investors.
This year, they are collaborating with two event organizers who are making waves with their events in town(Keta). These youngsters are the organizers of Xetoto Arts Festival and Keta to the World Concert.
The theme of the event is "PROMOTING, INVESTMENT, TOURISM AND THE ARTS FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT OF THE KETA MUNICIPALITY"
The event is slated to take place from the 30th of October 2023 to 5th November 2023. Below is the event line up
